The intra-DRG list is updated in October 2026 in France

In France, certain medical devices are financed within the DRG tariff but require an explicit review of clinical evidence by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Medical Devices and Health Technologies (CNEDiMTS) to ensure that they are safe and effective. This mechanism is called “intra-DRG (intra-GHS) coverage”. The mechanism applies to invasive devices. Only devices listed in the intra-DRG list can be purchased by hospitals.

On October 5, 2026, the Ministry of Health, Family, Autonomy and People with Disabilities published an updated version of the intra-DRG list.

Two new devices were registered under Title I, "Cardiac and vascular implants", Chapter 6 "Thrombectomy Devices", Section 3 "Thrombo-aspiration devices" of the List: Broadway 8 (Stryker) and CEREGLIDE 92 (Johnson&Johnson). The devices are intended for managing acute ischemic stroke in the selected indications.

Other changes concerned the delisting of certain device references, as well as the renewal and/or modification of registration conditions for several devices, including revision of indications for the PRO-SWING PS2 and PRO-SWING PS4 suspension implants (THT Bio-Science), used for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse in women via an upper surgical approach.
