Why Partner with MTRC?

Focused MedTech / IVD specialization

We focus on medical technologies, not broad life sciences. This matters because devices, diagnostics, procedures, software and care pathways face different access challenges than pharmaceuticals. Reimbursement, coding, tariffs, payer approval, HTA, evidence expectations and health economic arguments must be interpreted in the context of how the technology is actually used

Pan-European coverage from one specialist partner

Many market access advisors are country-specific. MTRC provides a consistent view across major European markets, helping clients compare countries, identify access differences and avoid fragmented local advice

Integrated MedTech access, evidence and economics support

MTRC supports clients across the full European MedTech access journey - from reimbursement coding, pathway analysis and strategy to evidence synthesis, value dossiers, health economic models, and HEOR implementation support

Unique access intelligence asset

MTRC’s project work is supported by continuous monitoring of reimbursement, payer, HTA and market access developments. Through MTRC Access Intelligence, clients benefit from structured insight into changes that may affect launch, evidence, value and portfolio decisions

Credibility from accumulated experience, thought leadership and industry engagement

MTRC’s advice is grounded in 1,000+ European MedTech market access projects and a strong body of thought leadership, including “Gateway to Europe”, the first dedicated book on European market access for medical technologies, proprietary market access methodologies, the MTRC Training Program, numerous white papers, and analytical newsletters. MTRC is a member of ABHI, the UK’s leading health technology industry association, strengthening our connection to the wider MedTech ecosystem

One of the Largest Specialist MedTech Access Teams Globally

MTRC is a focused team of around 30 people, making us one of the largest specialist MedTech market access consulting teams globally. Unlike firms that rely on country freelancers or generalist consultants, we have built an in-house European MedTech access platform. With over 60% of our team trained as physicians, we are able to quickly understand clinical and procedural complexity and translate it into practical reimbursement, HTA, payer, and evidence implications

Certified quality-management system

MTRC is ISO 9001:2015 accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). This reflects our commitment to structured processes, quality control and consistent delivery across complex multi-country projects.

MTRC supports European market access, evidence and health economics work for major categories of medical technologies, including:
