Rapid HTAs of six medical devices released in Tuscany in April 2026

The Tuscany Regional Healthcare HTA body issues three types of documents: full HTA reports, rapid HTA reports, and motivational forms. With the regional decree 7084 of April 2, 2026, Tuscany Regional Healthcare published six rapid HTA reports (four new assessments and two reassessments) on medical devices.

Some examples are provided below:

  • Harzati Beauty, an injectable gel based on hyaluronic acid for patients with scleroderma, skin atrophy, HIV-induced lipoatrophy, burns, and scarring (new assessment);
  • VersaCross Steerable Access Solution by Boston Scientific, a procedural kit with a radiofrequency guidewire and sheath designed to facilitate transseptal catheterization procedures, for patients with non-standard or anatomically complex atrial septum (thick, floppy, postcardiac surgery, or with a device in the atrial septum) (reassessment).
