New Case Study Published: Value Dossier to Support Procurement and Strategic Positioning in IVF MedTech
MTRC has published a new case study showing how a comprehensive value dossier helped a global IVF MedTech company consolidate its evidence base, strengthen product positioning, and support procurement discussions across Europe and other international markets.
Developed within four months, the dossier was based on a series of systematic literature reviews covering the burden of disease, current IVF techniques, technology positioning, clinical effectiveness, safety, organizational impact, staff satisfaction, cost implications, and resource utilization.
The final document synthesized evidence from more than 35 studies and included fully documented methodology, such as search strategies, inclusion and exclusion criteria, PRISMA flow diagrams, and lists of excluded studies with justifications.
Beyond summarizing the available evidence, the project helped the client articulate value propositions for patients, payers, healthcare providers, and clinical staff, while also identifying evidence gaps that could be addressed to strengthen the product’s future positioning.
Following a thorough internal review, including verification of all references, the dossier was formally approved for external use. It was then deployed in procurement discussions and played a direct supporting role in a successful major tender submission in a Western European country.
