New Case Study Published: Early Health Economic Modelling for Cardiovascular MedTech

MTRC has published a new case study showing how an early health economic model helped a cardiovascular MedTech company assess the market access potential of its product in the UK and identify the key drivers influencing future reimbursement success.

Developed within just 1.5 months, the 10-year Markov model provided an early view on whether the product could plausibly meet NICE cost-effectiveness expectations and highlighted the evidence gaps most critical for payer acceptance.

Beyond a simple cost-effectiveness assessment, the project helped the client refine its value proposition, focus future evidence generation efforts, and build a roadmap toward a future HTA-grade and publication-ready model.

The case demonstrates how early HEOR modelling can support strategic decision-making long before formal HTA submissions begin.
