MTRC Webinar: Europe’s Most Attractive MedTech Markets: The MTRC Reimbursement, Policy & HTA Attractiveness Index 2026

European countries differ substantially in the predictability, speed, evidence burden, and complexity of obtaining reimbursement and enabling routine hospital use of medical devices. This online seminar will present the key findings of the MTRC Reimbursement, Policy & HTA Attractiveness Index 2026, which compares 12 European markets and identifies Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland as the leading markets. It will explain how manufacturers can use the findings to support country prioritization, launch sequencing, evidence planning, and time-to-revenue expectations. MTRC Team Co-Authored a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis for a Diagnostic Test

The MTRC team has co-authored a new systematic review and meta-analysis on the diagnostic performance of the MeMed BV test in emergency department and urgent care settings, demonstrating high diagnostic accuracy in distinguishing bacterial infections from viral or other non-bacterial causes, with pooled sensitivity of 91% and specificity of 92%. The paper reflects MTRC’s active involvement in high-quality clinical research, systematic literature reviews, and meta-analyses.

The MedTech EU Market Access Attractiveness Index (MAAI) – Edition 2026 evaluates European countries based on the ease, predictability, and speed of obtaining reimbursement, payment access, and routine hospital use. The Index is designed to help MedTech companies prioritize markets, anticipate access barriers, and align evidence-generation plans with realistic launch and time-to-revenue expectations.
