MTRC Webinar: Europe’s Most Attractive MedTech Markets: The MTRC Reimbursement, Policy & HTA Attractiveness Index 2026

European countries differ substantially in the predictability, speed, evidence burden, and complexity of obtaining reimbursement and enabling routine hospital use of medical devices. This online seminar will present the methodology and key findings of the MTRC Reimbursement, Policy & HTA Attractiveness Index 2026, which compares 12 European markets across six dimensions and identifies Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland as the leading markets. It will explain how manufacturers can use the findings to support country prioritization, launch sequencing, evidence planning, and realistic time-to-revenue expectations, while recognizing that the results must be adapted to the characteristics of each technology. The seminar will be delivered by Oleg Borisenko, MD, PhD, on 27 August 2026 at 17:00 CET, is open only to medical technology industry representatives, and will not be recorded.

MTRC Webinar: Evidence Requirements for Reimbursement and HTA of Medical Devices in Europe

Regulatory approval does not automatically provide the clinical and health economic evidence needed to secure reimbursement, obtain a positive HTA recommendation, or support routine adoption of a medical device across Europe. This online seminar will explain how evidence expectations vary by country and pathway. It will review typical expectations about comparator, patient population, study designs, duration of follow-up and outcomes. It will also examine when health economic evidence may be required, and how manufacturers can identify evidence gaps and align development programs with future reimbursement and HTA needs. The seminar will be delivered by Dr Oleg Borisenko on 29 October 2026 at 17:00 CET, is open only to representatives of the medical technology industry, and will not be recorded.

MTRC Webinar: Joint Clinical Assessment of Medical Devices: What Do You Need to Know?

The EU Joint Clinical Assessment (JCA) introduces a mandatory, centralized evaluation of the relative clinical effectiveness and safety of selected high-risk medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic devices, while national authorities retain responsibility for pricing, reimbursement, cost-effectiveness, and funding decisions. This online seminar will explain which technologies may be selected for JCA, the main methodological requirements, and the specific role of the PICO framework in defining evidence expectations. It will also outline practical steps manufacturers should take to align clinical development and evidence-generation strategies with the emerging JCA requirements. The seminar will be delivered by MTRC Director, Oleg Borisenko, on 24 September 2026 at 17:00 CET, is open only to medical technology industry representatives, and will not be recorded.
