Our goal at MTRC is to inform the decision-making of our clients and to support their market access activities. Below is a snapshot of our planned activities for the next two weeks. This can help our existing and prospective clients understand the potential scope of our support better. From the week of September 14th, we plan to work on 15 projects. The new MTRC White Paper provides a practical overview of the evidence, methodology, and dossier submission requirements for medical devices and IVDs under the EU Joint Clinical Assessment framework.

European countries differ substantially in the predictability, speed, evidence burden, and complexity of obtaining reimbursement and enabling routine hospital use of medical devices. This online seminar will present the methodology and key findings of the MTRC Reimbursement, Policy & HTA Attractiveness Index 2026, which compares 12 European markets across six dimensions and identifies Germany, Denmark, and Switzerland as the leading markets. It will explain how manufacturers can use the findings to support country prioritization, launch sequencing, evidence planning, and realistic time-to-revenue expectations, while recognizing that the results must be adapted to the characteristics of each technology. The seminar will be delivered by Oleg Borisenko, MD, PhD, on 27 August 2026 at 17:00 CET, is open only to medical technology industry representatives, and will not be recorded.

The European MedTech market access environment continued to evolve in 2026, with important developments in reimbursement, healthcare policy, HTA methodology, national access pathways, and innovative payment mechanisms. This online seminar will review the most significant developments of the year, including progress in implementing EU Joint Clinical Assessments for selected medical devices and IVDs. It will explain how these changes may affect evidence generation, reimbursement strategy, country prioritization, launch sequencing, and time to access, while highlighting practical actions manufacturers should consider for 2027 and beyond.
