2026/27 application campaign for coverage with evidence development programs in France

On August 6, 2026, the Ministry of Health, Family, Autonomy and People with Disabilities published an information note relating to the 2026-2027 application for coverage under evidence development programs.

Several ministerial research programs support evidence generation in France, including the Hospital Clinical Research Program (PHRC), Translational Research Program (PRT), Medico-Economic Research Program (PRME), Healthcare System Performance Research Program (PREPS), and Hospital Nursing and Paramedical Research Program (PHRIP). Depending on the program, research projects may support evidence generation for new and innovative health technologies or assess technologies already in use, including their feasibility, efficacy, safety, economic efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The programs may also contribute to optimizing the organization of care and healthcare pathways.

The Ministry issues an information note for each campaign detailing these programs. It describes the specific research areas, eligibility criteria, and application procedures for each call for projects.

Applications for the national 2026-2027 PHRC (PHRC-N), PHRIP, PREPS, and PRME programs must be submitted via the INNOVARC platform by January 27, 2027.

Information about the calls for projects and applications for the cancer-related programs (PHRC-K and PRT-K) is available on the National Cancer Institute (INCa) website.

The application calendar for interregional PHRC programs (PHRC-I) is available on the websites of the interregional clinical research and innovation groups (GIRCI), while information on the PRT-Health program (PRT-S) is available on the National Research Agency (ANR) website.
